Opening Process

1. In the closed position, the ball is pressed against the valve seat by the mechanical pressure of the valve stem.

2. When the handwheel is turned counterclockwise, the valve stem moves in the opposite direction, and its bottom angled plane causes the ball to separate from the valve seat.

3. The valve stem continues to lift upwards and interacts with the guide pin in the spiral groove of the valve stem, causing the ball to begin rotating frictionlessly.

4. When the valve stem rises to its limit position, the ball rotates to the fully open position.

Closing Process

1. When closing, turn the handwheel clockwise, the valve stem begins to descend, and the ball leaves the valve seat and begins to rotate. 2. As the handwheel continues to rotate, the valve stem, guided by the guide pin embedded in the upper spiral groove, causes the valve stem and the ball to rotate simultaneously by 90°.

3. When the One Piece Ball Valve for Natural Gas is about to close, the steel ball has rotated 90°, but is not yet in contact with the valve seat.

4. During the final few turns of the handwheel, the angled plane at the bottom of the valve stem mechanically wedges and compresses the steel ball, pressing it tightly against the valve seat, thus achieving a complete seal.
