We officially announce that after continuous research and development by our team in the fields of fluid mechanics and material engineering, the new generation of Single Press Check Valve has been successfully developed and launched. Targeting modern industrial and civil piping systems, this product has undergone systematic technical optimization in connection technology, corrosion resistance, and sealing reliability, aiming to provide a more stable and durable solution for fluid control.
This check valve adopts Single Press Connection technology. Compared with traditional welding or doublepress processes, single press requires only one standard pressing operation to achieve a tight connection between the pipe and the valve body through cold metal extrusion deformation. The advantages of this process are reflected in three aspects: first, it reduces onsite construction procedures and lowers labor and time costs; second, it avoids the impact of high welding temperatures on the metallographic structure of stainless steel, maintaining the original corrosion resistance of the material; third, the cold connection method involves no open flame operations, making it suitable for installation environments with high fire safety and cleanliness requirements.
In terms of internal flow channel design, the R&D team optimized the valve core profile using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). During forward flow, the medium pressure overcomes the spring preload to push the valve core open, and the flow channel crosssectional area changes smoothly, keeping pressure loss at a low level. During reverse flow, the valve core quickly returns to its seat under the combined action of spring force and reverse medium pressure, fitting the sealing surface to achieve rapid check. This design helps suppress water hammer phenomena and reduces impact on downstream pumps and precision instruments.
The valve body material offers two options: 304 and 316 stainless steel, to meet the corrosion resistance requirements of different working conditions.
304 stainless steel contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, possessing good comprehensive corrosion resistance, suitable for domestic drinking water, general industrial water, and neutral medium pipelines. 316 stainless steel adds 23% molybdenum (Mo) on the basis of 304, significantly improving resistance to chloride ion pitting and crevice corrosion. It is suitable for working conditions with corrosive media such as chemical, marine engineering, pharmaceutical, and water treatment. Users can choose according to actual medium characteristics and usage environment.
The sealing component is the key part for a check valve to achieve zero leakage. This product uses EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) as the core sealing material.
EPDM is a saturated nonpolar rubber. Its molecular main chain is composed of stable carboncarbon single bonds, with a small number of unsaturated double bonds in the side chains. This structure gives EPDM the following characteristics:
1. Weather resistance and ozone resistance: EPDM has excellent resistance to ozone, ultraviolet rays, and atmospheric aging, suitable for various indoor and outdoor installation environments
2. Heat resistance and water resistance: EPDM can work longterm in the temperature range of 40°C to 120°C, with good tolerance to cold water, hot water, and steam. Its compression set rate is low, and it can maintain stable sealing specific pressure under longterm highfrequency opening and closing conditions.
3. Chemical compatibility: EPDM has good resistance to alcohols, ketones, glycols, and various polar chemical solvents, but is not suitable for aliphatic hydrocarbons (such as gasoline, mineral oil) and aromatic hydrocarbon media. The selection should be confirmed based on the actual medium.
Compared with NBR, EPDM performs more stably in hot water and steam environments, making it a commonly used sealing material in HVAC and water supply and drainage systems.
Combining the technical characteristics of single press connection, stainless steel valve body, and EPDM sealing, this product is suitable for the following systems:
Building water supply and drainage: Cold and hot water supply pipelines for highrise buildings, fire sprinkler systems.
HVAC: Boilers, heat exchangers, chilled water and hot water circulation systems.
Industrial fluids: Pipeline control in chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and water treatment systems.
The completion of this Single Press Check Valve further improves our company's product layout in the field of stainless steel pipe connection and fluid control. We are always committed to providing global customers with valve products that meet international standards and have stable performance through pragmatic technical solutions. Engineering partners and customers are welcome to inquire about samples, technical data, and quotations.
