Copper – A Warm Heart

High-quality copper is used for the hose connectors and nuts. Through multiple hand-polishing and electroplating processes, the copper surface exhibits a warm luster reminiscent of the afterglow of a setting sun. Copper naturally possesses antibacterial properties – on this object that comes into daily contact with water, antibacterial properties are not superfluous, but rather a gentle protection. When you tighten the connector, the substantial feel is a testament to the reliability honed over time.

The main body of the hose is woven from SUS304 stainless steel. This is a globally recognized food-grade material, free of harmful substances, and will not release odors or impurities when in contact with water. SUS304 is understated yet maintains its elegance with every bend. Corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant, it can withstand hundreds of bathing evenings, resisting the daily challenges of long-term moisture, limescale, and shower gel residue in the bathroom.

If you live in a coastal city, or if your home has hard water with high chlorine content, SUS316L stainless steel offers a more profound promise. Compared to SUS304, SUS316L adds molybdenum, significantly increasing its resistance to chloride corrosion. This "tangle-free" design is not accidental, but rather the result of a perfect combination of three design elements: Precision double-lock structure: The corrugated hose body interlocks tightly, with sufficient resilience between each lock. When the hose bends, it automatically straightens, preventing knots from forming.

Low-torque rotation design

The interface features a built-in smooth bearing structure, allowing the hose to rotate freely with the shower head. No matter how you rotate the shower head, the hose will not spin or tangle.

Moderate hose stiffness: A hose that is too soft is prone to tangling, while a hose that is too stiff is difficult to handle. After hundreds of mixing experiments, Shenchi has found the perfect balance between stiffness and flexibility in the braiding density of SUS304 and SUS316L.
